Video Depositions & Expert Witness Testimony
The testimony of a witness can be the key element to a case, but
witnesses may not always be available to appear at trial. Video
deposition of expert witness testimony can solve this problem.
A clear picture, a steady camera, and clear audio are essential
when recording a video deposition. But these qualities don't happen
by themselves; they rely on high quality equipment, well trained
operators, and preparation to deal with the variety of things that
can go wrong.
And the number of variables that exist to produce a video deposition
means that things DO go wrong — rooms may not have too much
or not enough light or audio can be compromised by air conditioners
or outside noise. Video equipment can even malfunction. For these
reasons, we arrive early to jobs to scope out the situation, adjust
anything we can adjust, and work around anything we can't. To guard
against equipment failure, we have backup equipment on-hand, and
regularly check the performance of our equipment as we proceed.
All this goes to assure that testimony made before the camera will
be equally effective before a jury.
Seventeen years of recording video depositions and expert witness
testimony has given The Legal Lenz the ability
to adapt to the most challenging circumstances and always produce
footage that is as effective as possible. How
can The Legal Lenz help you?
